YouMe Suppport Foundation is a registered charity in Vanuatu. It's goals and aims are to assist high achieving students who are in danger of dropping out of school through lack of fees. Kids who have an aptitude to learn and assit their local community.
Rick & Wendy Tendys
Rick and Wendy Tendys are CEO's of YouMe Support Foundation, a Vanuatu registered charity, raising funds for high school education grants, for kids who will never see the inside of a high school classrooom, or complete their education, without outside assistance.
Rick and Wendy chose to retire to the tropical island nation of Vanuatu, in the South Pacific, after teaching English in Hong Kong.
Instead of retiring, however, they began a whole new and exciting way of life. First they renovated a gracious but run down property and created a small boutique accommodation business, Seachange Lodge.
When they saw the desperate need for financial assistance with high school education, they created YouMe Support Foundation, under a Board of Directors from the local community, so as to raise funds to help the kids.
Rick worked for 25 years as a Flight Service Director and Training Officer with Qantas. Wendy was a co-pastor of a church and administrator of a Kindergarten and Child Care for 15 years.
They are enjoying helping others who can't help themselves. Come and join them. You can visit the kids, form an email relationship with the child you sponsor and make a real difference. Every cent you give, makes a difference.
