Vision
The Vision and Mission Statement of YouMe Support Foundation is:
‘Giving Children a Brighter Future’
Through Non-repayable Education Grants, we provide high school education grants for high achieving students who are geographically or financially disadvantaged, such as in the Outer Islands of Vanuatu. They live in a Cashless Society where there is little or no government assistance.
The Board of Directors and Staff of YouMe Support Foundation:
- Consider all the needs, aims and goals of the students
- Discuss with the local teachers, the student’s past performance
- Liase with the communities the students are drawn from
- Place the children in the best available school, in order to gain the best results
- Place the students in home care where ever possible
- Keep abreast of current issues involving the students
- Channel resources to address the student’s needs
- Monitor and assist the students to reach their goals and financial independence
- Encourage the students to assist their own communities to move from being a Cashless Society to being financially enabled
There are many ways the above goals can be achieved and further details will be revealed to the Friends Educating Kids as we progress.
These distant communities have slipped beneath the radar of all other aid agencies. They are on their own. They need our help.
